The Nordic Model tryptic was based on research on Amnesty International’s report on the use of the Nordic Model of prostitution laws in the netherlands and its projected effect on the recent adaptation of this model in Ireland and Canada.
Operation Homeless (center panel of Nordic Model tryptic) depicts a traditional sod house with the words Operasjon Husløs 2007-2011 the title and dates of an official police operation under the title ‘Operation Homeless’ (translated) during which police used forced eviction to deter sex work in direct violation of human rights.
These works were exhibited as part of One Forward, Two Back a solo show at the Small Projects Gallery in Tromsø, Norway.
